Repoint roof verges and install new bargeboards

Repoint roof verges and replace fascia, soffit and guttering on a house in Maidstone

As well as new fascias, soffits and guttering, the verges on this property in Maidstone needed completely rebuilding. This involved stripping the tiles at the edge of the roof gable, bedding in new undercloak and bedding the tiles back down with mortar ready for repointing.

  • Erect traditional scaffolding to enable access to the gable end for repointing
  • Remove the end roof tiles
  • Bed in new tiles with mortar
  • Completely remove all the old fascia, soffit and guttering
  • Install new UPVC fascia boards, soffit board and guttering and pipes
  • Clean the work area
  • Removal of all old waste material
